
Rev. Robert “Robbie” Hendrick
Senior Pastor
Our Pastor, Rev. Robert Hendrick, was born and raised in Sylacauga, Alabama. He received his B.A. from Auburn University in 1989 and his M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in 1995. Rev. Hendrick has served in the ministry for more 30 years in St. Louis, Tampa, and Nashville. Robbie and and his wife, Tammy (Eyrich), have five children: Trey, Hayden, Megan, Myles, and Preston and two grandchildren, Law and Anders.
Rev. Ryan Bigham
Assistant Pastor
Ryan is a northerner, born and raised in Western New York. He has a B.A. in Religion from Houghton College and an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is married to Halle, who encourages him in godliness. Ryan has a great passion for teaching the Scriptures, seeing the people of God (of all ages) grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord, reading, disc golf, and coffee.


Dr. Stan Pylant
Director of Music
Dr. Stan Pylant was born just outside Shreveport, Louisiana, and reared in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Pylant graduated from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Institute of Worship Studies. He has served for over forty years with churches in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Stan and Kirsten married in 1991 and have two grown children: Brianna, an elementary music teacher, and Nathan, an engineer.
Stan joined the ministry of Christ Church, Presbyterian in July of 2015. In addition, Dr. Pylant serves as the Director of the Augusta Youth Chorale (AYC), an auditioned choir for teen singers across the CSRA (www.augustayouthchorale.org), a member of the CenturyMen, an auditioned male chorus of ministers of music from around the U.S., a member of the Sons of Jubal, a male chorus of ministers of music in Georgia, as well as a violist with the Augusta Symphony.

Frances Gojda
Children’s Ministry Director
Frances is a southern girl through and through. She was born in Virginia and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She has a BS degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop College, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Frances has spent most of her life loving and nurturing children in some form or fashion. She has taught in the public school system, stayed home to raise her two children, worked in several church ministries and has spent the past 8 years teaching Pre-K. Helping children to grow in the love and grace of the Lord, as well as, helping to prepare them to share His love with others is a true passion of Frances’..
Frances and her family are BIG college football fans and will be found barking loudly on Saturdays in the fall for the Georgia Bulldogs. She loves all things family related and enjoys any time spent with her two adult children Becca and Robert. Frances also enjoys cooking and time at the beach!

Nick Hunn
Interim Youth Ministry Director
Nick joined Christ Church in 2021 and has served as Youth Director since May of 2023. He and his wife Lydia have five children: Cora, Calvin, Lottie, Vera and Penny. Nick has a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University with a focus in Religion. He currently works at Fort Gordon and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, lifting weights, and playing disc golf.
Scott Doss
Audio/Visual Director
Scott Doss was born into an Air Force family in Exeter, New Hampshire. After his father retired in 1967, the family moved to upstate South Carolina and Scott attended Clemson University. Early in 1981 he became a Christian and began a career in radio. He and his wife, Margaret, met while attending Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Easley, South Carolina. They were married in 1985 and have two children and three grandchildren.
In 1999 Scott left radio and started his own voice talent, copywriting and audio production company known as Aerie Voices. At the same time he became Audio/Visual Director at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta. In 2004 Scott and Margaret became Charter Members of Christ Church, Presbyterian and Scott joined to the church staff as Audio/Visual Director.
In 1999 Scott left radio and started his own voice talent, copywriting and audio production company known as Aerie Voices. At the same time he became Audio/Visual Director at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta. In 2004 Scott and Margaret became Charter Members of Christ Church, Presbyterian and Scott joined to the church staff as Audio/Visual Director.
